Miss Beatrix Potter : She was an British author, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist best known for her imaginative children’s books featuring animals such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit (story book) which celebrated the British landscape and country life.

2. The original of "Beatrix"
(1) "Beatrix" is a word which is the original of the name "Beatrice".
(2) Beatrice Portinari was Dante's (但丁) ex-girlfriend. He had fallen in love with her
before he was exiled from Florence.

4. Analysis of The Tale of Peter Rabbit
(1) Analysis of the plot
a. Good bunnies can have the milk, blackberries, and bread in the end. However, the
naughty Peter can only have a dose of camomile tea.
--- Kid who behaves good can get the reward but kid who behaves bad gets nothing.
b. The dashes showed in the book means wait and take a breath or prolong the word.
c. In some scary parts, the author used the way of understatement (輕描淡寫的說法).
(2) Grammar and Sentence
a. on his hands and knees -- on your belly (這裡的on表示伏著;趴著的意思)
b. "scarecrow" This word are composed of "scare"(嚇) and "crow"(烏鴉). 稻草人
c. feel sick--- feel+adj 情緒動詞直接加上形容詞
(3) Good Sentence
Don't get in to mischief. (字面:"別給自己找麻煩" 引申"要乖喔!")
